I successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation in Computer Science on April 27, 2007 at the
University of Southern California.
I am currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Systems Engineering at the
University of Alaska,Anchorage. More
information about my professional life can be found on my teaching and
research pages.
When I was in LA, I used to play in an adult baseball league on Sundays for the
Royals. I was the starting catcher on the all-star team all 5 years
that I played in the league. The collisions at home plate are my favorite part of the game, and here are a few of my
favorite baseball pictures.
I also enjoy staying rather active by running, hiking, and playing softball (including snowshoe softball on UAA's School of Engineering team in February in Alaska!).
Last but definitely not least, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Nalanie, my dog, Twinkie, and my two cats,
Brownie and Mochi.
When we watch TV, our favorites shows include iCarly, Hannah Montana, Friends, CSI, Scrubs, The Office, Glee, and American Idol.
I also have some pictures of my family and friends. I wonder when they're going to put web
sites up...
